In our facility in Slite, on Gotland, we handle alternative fuels for Heidelberg Material Cement Sweden that match their requirements for combustion in clinker production. The fuels consist of waste that cannot be materially recycled and can be anything from non-reusable plastic to construction waste. When crushing the waste fuel, dust arises where particles and spores of various kinds risk creating major problems with the working environment and thus a health risk for the personnel staying in the facility.

The staff must be protected first and foremost, and therefore effective air purification is vital in our operations. We use Njord air purifiers which solve our needs in a good way as they very effectively clean the air in the premises. Despite the tough environment, they work without problems and the handling of filter changes is smooth and efficient.
