UV-C is an optional extra available for all our air purifiers and means that air will be treated with ultraviolet light to eliminate up to 99.999% of harmful microorganisms, viruses and bacteria. UV-C is a technology developed by NASA and is frequently employed in healthcare for sterilisation. In order to pick the right air purification system, it’s important that you compare relevant features of the different solutions. The most important feature you need to understand is the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) so that you can check each air purifier’s clean airflow/sec. = CADR. Beyond that, there are many other parameters that are important in the selection process, such as whether the air purifier has constant flow control and an alarm function, whether it satisfies the requirements for sprinkler systems and whether it is fitted with certified filters and so on.
