Njord Clean Air and long-term sustainability
Why you should choose Njord from an environmental and sustainability perspective.
All our air purifiers are manufactured in Töcksfors, Sweden, using recycled aluminum. The lightweight design reduces material usage and enables more energy-efficient transportation, contributing to lower carbon emissions.
High quality, good design, and smart material choices ensure that the air purifiers last and operate for many years without needing to be replaced for a long time.
We use combustible filter frames made of wood composite, consisting of 70% wood and 30% recycled plastic.
We avoid unnecessary deliveries of filters and air purifiers. Our service technicians bring all the materials needed for both installation and service, which often results in halved transportation compared to many other suppliers.
All Njord air purifiers are equipped with Njord Connect™, which enables efficient control of the purifiers based on activity or current particle levels. For example, by scheduling the purifiers according to the business’s operating hours, up to 75% of the energy consumed by the air purifier without control can be saved. This corresponds to a saving of approximately 4000 kWh per air purifier per year, based on 40 hours of operation per week.
The raw materials used in the production of filters are renewable and as locally sourced as possible, and the electricity used in production comes exclusively from local, renewable hydroelectric power from the production site in SkjĂĄk, Norway.
We use quality filters with the lowest possible energy consumption during operation – without compromising filtration performance. All filters are certified according to ISO 16890 or EN 1822.
