Komplett has its logistics center in Sandefjord, Norway, with both AutoStore, conveyors belts and packaging machines as well as a lot of related technical equipment. We have a lot of activity in the warehouse, which creates a lot of dust that affects both people and equipment. In connection with the implementation of new extrusion machines, we wanted to have more control over dust and particles from the cardboard packaging because it is important to us that our employees have a good and clean indoor environment. In addition, we wanted to create as good an environment as possible for the technical equipment and our AutoStore.
We chose Njord Clean Air because they had good references and good ideas on how to set up the air purifiers and manage the air correctly in the relevant zones. We also got a good overview of their products and what they could offer already at the first meeting.
At the start, measurements were made in defined areas, which made us sure that it was the right choice to expand to more areas in the warehouse. In the vicinity of the machines that produce with cardboard dust, there is also a clear, visible result in the filters of the air purifiers.
With Njord’s air purifiers in our premises, the air measurements show that we achieve good results, the perceived indoor environment is also good and the response from the employees has been exclusively positive – especially from those who work in areas with a lot of cardboard packaging in circulation. We have a good cooperation and service agreement with Njord where filter changes and follow-up of the machines are done without us having to be involved to a large extent. Njord comes at the agreed time and a service report is sent back immediately after the visit.
