Sørlandschips is Norway’s largest producer of kettle chips and one of the most preferred chips brands in the country. In the chips factory in Kristiansand, we make our chips from carefully selected potatoes that are washed, cut, fried and then packed in bags. Here we also have a nut factory where we roast and pack nuts. In our operations, there is a lot of dust from soil on the potatoes and also cardboard dust from packaging in production. Because it is important to us to keep the air as clean as possible, we have had air purifiers installed in our premises.
We use external actors to regularly measure the air quality so that it always maintains an acceptable level.
With air purifiers from Njord, it works exactly as we want and we don’t have to think about either the machines or the filters. Njord takes care of everything, from service to filter replacements. It is a problem-free solution that allows us as a manufacturer to focus on what we have to do – and at a lower cost than our previous supplier.
