At Arronet, we manufacture aluminum boats entirely in-house, based on our own designs. All components are produced and assembled in our facilities in Öregrund. Since the entire process, from raw material to finished boat, takes place on-site, using cutting machines, robotic welders, and manual welding, a significant amount of metal particles and welding fumes are generated. Before the installation of air purifiers, a noticeable haze of particles and smoke could be seen in the air despite the use of local exhaust systems. We wanted to address this issue to create a safer and healthier working environment for our staff.
After the installation of Njord air purifiers, the air in the premises is noticeably cleaner, and the particle haze has disappeared. The purifiers remove what the local exhaust systems cannot capture and improve the environment throughout the entire facility. This is especially beneficial for employees working without personal respiratory protection. Our cutting machines and robots also benefit from the reduced dust and particle levels in the air. Air purification is particularly important to us because we care about our employees’ health and strive to provide them with the safest and healthiest possible working environment.
